This film was so much fun to work on. Christian really loved the classic Sergio Leone films and we referenced them for their framing. Since we were shooting in desert conditions I opted for the Alexa which worked like a charm in the heat and the sand. Shooting westerns is a dream for almost any cinematographer, I hope I get to do it again. Race, Ed & the horse were all a lot of fun to work with. In retrospect, it was an awesome two day shoot. At the time, hiking over sand dunes with equipment in the heat was challenging. It's one of those shoots that takes a family to put together and we were fortunate enough to have a great crew. Here's a trailer: https://vimeo.com/121314142
